Rakesh shetty famously known as “ANNA SHETTY” in his political and social circle was an state Vice President for NCP YOUTH. He resigned from the post of youth Vice President of NCP in 2012.. He has sponsored education for more than 100 students under the banner of "SHRI VITHAL SHETTY FOUNDATION" He had rigorously protested against donation system in Maharashtra and had held protests against the same in various occasions. In 2017 he’s started his own Organization "HINDU LIONS" which works for HINDU UNITY.
